Final Report and Price List
We charge $ 15.00 per 1 hour of Genealogy Research and $ 16.00 per 1 hour of Family History Research. Besides, we charge a fixed fee $ 50.00 for all necessary research expenses - travel costs, administrative fees (borrowing records in the archives, contacting the offices), additional copies, final report printing, postage (registered air-mail).
Thus, the total amount is $ 275.00 for one basic Genealogy Research project and $ 290.00 for one basic Family History Research project or Field Research project.
High standard compilation work and additional services carry an extra charge.
All results are provided in English.
The final report is available in two formats :

For each one hour of searching we are normally able to find 2 - 3 genealogical records (birth, marriage, death records) relating to your ancestry. Thus, in 15 hours we can usually find about 30 - 45 documents.
A. Simple Final Report (price $ 275.00)
* graphical diagrams of your ancestry (Pedigree and Descendant Charts, both conducted in one 15 hour segment)
* short description of records which have been found
* graphical diagram of your ancestry (Pedigree and Descendant Chart)
* original spellings of names, residences and occupations
* additional comments and explanations of archaic terms
* parish registration records in the Czech Lands and Slovakia (essay)
* inhabitants of the Czech, Moravian and Slovakian village from the 16th to the 19th century (an essay which describes the living conditions of villagers in the period of the feudal system and which explains Czech / Slovak / German / Hungarian / Latin archaic terms and occupations)
* copy of a map of the area where your ancestors came from
* suggestions on how to continue with further research
* invoice
B. High Standard Compilation Work (price $ 50.00)
* verbatim extracts and translations of all genealogical records relating to your ancestry which have been found (birth, marriage, death records) - including references to archival sources, names of godparents, witnesses, midwives and priests, and all notes (cause of death, baptismal, wedding and burial places, wedding banns, issue of other records concerning the ancestor, etc.)
* transcription, translation and interpretation of Family History documents which have been located (books of land ownership, censuses, etc.)
C. Additional Services
1. Family Origin Envelope which contains the following items (all translated into English) - for a fixed rate of $ 50.00 :
a) additional information on villages and towns where your ancestors came from (this usually describes 3 - 5 villages plus 1 town or feudal authority) : natural conditions, origin of villages, history, sights, feudal authorities, list of landlords, number of inhabitants and houses from 1850 to 1991, references to internet sites of villages and towns if available
b) images of villages, towns and former residences of relevant landlords - chateaux, castles or forts, images of a typical folk architecture of the region
c) colored hiking map of the area where your ancestors came from
3. Czech pronunciation of surnames and places mentioned in the report, provided in an acoustic file (wav file) - for a fixed rate of $ 10.00
4. xerox copies (photocopies) of original documents - $ 2.50 per page
5. photographs and images - $ 1.00 for each photograph or image
